Author Guidelines

Abstract Submission Guidelines

The Greeks in AI 2025 meeting aims to bring together researchers from artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, robotics, neuroscience, and related fields to discuss and share their latest research. The event does not have proceedings, allowing authors to present their already published work to a broader audience.

Important Dates

  • Abstract submission deadline: May 31, 2025
  • Author notification: June 7, 2025
  • Conference dates: July 19-20, 2025

Quick Links

Eligibility Criteria

  • Submissions should be published works. Preprints on arXiv are also considered published.
  • The submission must clearly indicate where the work has been published.

Reviewing Process

  • Minimal reviewing will be conducted to ensure compliance with submission guidelines.
  • There will be no content-level peer review as all submissions must already be published.
  • There is no single - or double - blind reviewing.

Submission Format

Please upload to OpenReview the pdf of your accepted paper as is, using the template of the respective conference or journal.

  • In both the OpenReview and paper abstract, please add a reference to the accepted paper version of the submission (conference, journal, PhD thesis, etc.) together with a link if it exists.
  • In both the OpenReview and paper abstract, add at least one of the following keywords: 1. Vision and Learning, 2. Language and Learning, 3. Robotics and Embodied AI, 4. AI for Health, 5. AI for Science, 6. Other.

Topics of Interest

The Greeks in AI 2025 conference is an interdisciplinary event that brings together researchers in machine learning, neuroscience, statistics, optimization, computer vision, natural language processing, life sciences, natural sciences, social sciences, and other adjacent fields. We invite submissions presenting new and original research on topics including but not limited to the following:

Applications (e.g., vision, language, speech and audio, Creative AI)
Deep learning (e.g., architectures, generative models, optimization for deep networks, foundation models, LLMs)
Evaluation (e.g., methodology, meta studies, replicability and validity, human-in-the-loop)
General machine learning (supervised, unsupervised, online, active, etc.)
Infrastructure (e.g., libraries, improved implementation and scalability, distributed solutions)
Machine learning for sciences (e.g., climate, health, life sciences, physics, social sciences)
Neuroscience and cognitive science (e.g., neural coding, brain-computer interfaces)
Optimization (e.g., convex and non-convex, stochastic, robust)
Probabilistic methods (e.g., variational inference, causal inference, Gaussian processes)
Reinforcement learning (e.g., decision and control, planning, hierarchical RL, robotics)
Social and economic aspects of machine learning (e.g., fairness, interpretability, human-AI interaction, privacy, safety, strategic behavior)
Theory (e.g., control theory, learning theory, algorithmic game theory)

Machine learning is a rapidly evolving field, and we welcome interdisciplinary submissions that do not fit neatly into existing categories.

Ready to Submit Your Work?

We encourage authors to take this opportunity to share and discuss their work with the Greeks in AI community, fostering new collaborations and ideas.
